Here are some tools that may help you investigate and erraticate Fizzer. I can't guarantee that any of them work, or that they themselves won't be harmful. For example, the virus itself can be downloaded here. Download this stuff at your own risk! You may download these files only if you agree to not use them for malicious purposes.   • Dummy IRCd (Bash Shellscript) - This is the shell script used by Mysteria to accept connections on irc.mysteria.net and log them. It requires two files. The instructions are in `defizzer'. Download `defizzer'. Download `defizzer.sh'.
  • Dummy IRCd (C) - This dummy IRCd was written in C by Joaquin Grech. Download dummy-ircd.c
  • /suspectbots (mIRC) - CyberBotX (Peacefulhaven) wrote this mIRC script to detect Fizzer "bots" on your IRC network. Download suspectbots.mrc
  • Drone K-Line'er (Eggdrop) - I believe this TCL script for Eggdrop removes the bots from your network. By Joakim Axelsson. Download fizzerdrone.tcl (broken link)
  • IRCd Module (Unreal) - This is a fizzer removal module for Unreal IRCd. I hear it likes to crash though, so you may want to tweak it so it doesn't do that. Download defizzer.c
  • IRCd Patch (Bahamut) - A patch for bahamut 1.4.34 to remove Fizzers. Download bahamut-1.4.34-release.fz4.patch
  • IRCd (PTlink) - Lamego from PTlink offers this IRCd, which has Fizzer denial capabilities. Download PTlink6.14.5_defizzer.tgz
  • IRCd Module (Hybrid 7) - According to "Sarisa", this is "a Hybrid 7/ircd-ratbox module to remove fizzers". Download m_killfizzer.c
  • IRCd Patch (UndernetIRCd) - Atma submitted this patch for UndernetIRCd to remove Fizzer. Download fizzer-patch.txt
  • IRCd Patch (dreamforge) - A patch for dreamforge-based IRCds. For more information, click the link. Visit Page
  • Fizzer - Here is the actual Fizzer. That's right, the virus itself. Only download this for investigational purposes! Download fizzer.zzz
  • Fizzer Unpacked - Apparently the actual Fizzer has many files packed within it. This ZIP file contains all of those files. Only download this for investigational purposes! Download fizzer.zip
  • Fizzer Disassembly - Here is a nice disassembly of iservc.exe (part of fizzer). Download iservc.asm
  • FIzzer Disassembly (All) - This is a disassembly of all of the files which are packed in Fizzer's executable. Download fizzer_dasm.zip
